According to Jeunes Footeux, Everton have made contact with Shabab Dubai forward Igor Jesus over a potential move to England.
The 20-year-old has been in spectacular form for the UAE Gulf League outfit this season, scoring 11 goals in 22 games, while also assisting 11 goals too.
Having played 1,911 minutes, that means Jesus is involved in a goal every 86.9 minutes this term – a fine rate.
Interestingly, Jeunes Footeux claim that the Brazilian could cost Everton just €10 million (£8.5 million) – on the basis of his form this season, that sounds like a potential bargain.
However, if the Toffees are to sign Jesus, they will have to fend off competition from Marseille, who are also keen.
Jeunes Footeux add that the forward is a ‘fast and technical’ attacker who is very good with his back to goal.

They also claim that he has a contract with Shabab Dubai until December 2022.
Of course, you might be feeling a bit sceptical.
After all, how many players move from the UAE Gulf League to the Premier League, let alone ones who prove to be a success.

We certainly can’t think of many.
However, Jesus does still sound like an exciting forward.
To be scoring and assisting at such an impressive rate as a 20-year-old is eye-catching, so it’s no wonder Everton and Marseille have been alerted.
