According to Foot Mercato, Everton have made contact with Bayer Leverkusen forward Moussa Diaby’s representatives.
The French news outlet state that the Toffees have been scouting the 21-year-old closely, and are delighted with what they’ve been seeing.
That comes as no surprise.
The Frenchman has enjoyed a brilliant campaign, scoring ten goals while recording an eye-catching 15 assists in all competitions.
Foot Mercato claim that Everton are keen to know what Bayer Leverkusen’s plan is for the attacker, who they signed from Paris Saint-Germain in 2019.
The report also says that, with Diaby under contract until 2025, it would surely take an ‘interesting’ offer to make the Bundesliga side part ways with their No.19.

So, for those of you wondering, what type of player is the 11-cap France Under-21 international?
Well, the Bundesliga’s official website compared him to Dutch icon Arjen Robben.
The Bundesliga say that Diaby’s ability with his left foot – cutting in from the right – and his immense dribbling skills are comparable to Robben’s playing style.

It is also said that the Everton target has the capability to ‘shatter land speed records’ – it’s safe to say he’s absolutely rapid.
Carlo Ancelotti could do with a new right-forward in his squad.
With Diaby playing as well as he is, Marcel Brands might’ve identified the perfect option.
