According to TEAMtalk, Everton have asked about a potential deal for Hull City striker James Scott.
It’s claimed that Everton have made first contact about a move, but they aren’t alone in pursuing the former Motherwell striker.
Leeds United are thought to be interested too, whilst Crystal Palace and Newcastle United are also keen on signing Scott.
Hull want to keep hold of Scott having paid £1.5million to sign him in January, but their relegation leaves them in a tricky spot.
Everton want to add him to their Under-23 setup initially, before eventually promoting him into their first-team.
That’s exactly what they did with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is now a regular starter for Carlo Ancelotti, so Scott does have inspiration there.

Scott, 19, scored seven goals in 42 games for Motherwell before earning his move to Hull, where he scored once in seven appearances.
The teenager is tall and mobile, meaning there is plenty to work with based on his athletic profile, and that may be what Everton want rather than adding another senior striker.
Leeds have signed a player with a similar profile in Joe Gelhardt, whilst Newcastle need to find striking options both for now and for the future, with Scott potentially ticking their boxes.
