Aaron Lennon has made 12 appearances for Everton in all competitions this season.

According to a report in The Sun, Everton are willing to loan out Aaron Lennon today.

Lennon has struggled to hold down a place in Ronald Koeman’s starting line-up at Goodison Park this season, and Everton are now considering allowing the 29-year-old wide man to leave.

The Toffees have announced that they will listen to loan offers for the former Tottenham Hotspur man, and a number of clubs are taking an interest.

Lennon is likely to have offers from both Premier League and Championship clubs, after his availability was announced.

Everton’s signing of Ademola Lookman has knocked Lennon further down the pecking order at Goodison Park, as Koeman puts his faith in youth.

At the moment, the interested clubs in Lennon have not been named – but it is anticipated that the potential transfer could move at a rapid pace before tonight’s deadline.

Lennon has made 12 appearances for Everton in all competitions this season, but he has only registered one goal against Yeovil in the EFL Cup.

Whether Lennon’s possible departure suggests that Everton are set to sign an attacker remains to be seen.
