The winger has been linked with Everton after impressing for PSV.

The January transfer window is rapidly approaching and, given that it will be Sam Allardyce’s first opportunity to add players to the Everton squad, it seems likely that a host of players will be linked with moves to Goodison Park.
The speculation has already started, with Everton having reportedly made an offer of £42 million for PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving Lozano, according to Super Deportivo.

A Mexico international, Lozano joined PSV from Pachuca in the summer and has made a flying start in Dutch football, scoring ten goals and providing six assists in 15 Eredivisie fixtures.
The 22-year-old is an exciting prospect, but Everton aren’t the only club that are interested in signing him, with Arsenal having also submitted a bid of £42 million for Lozano, according to the report.

Given Lozano’s lack of experience of English football, signing him would represent something of a risk for Everton, but it does appear to be a gamble worth taking when his form this season is considered.
Everton would certainly benefit from having a direct winger in their side and such a signing could help to improve their fortunes even further.
