Everton are set to bring in Cenk Tosun from Besiktas during the January transfer window.

Everton first went for Giroud during the summer transfer window, but they were unable to get a deal over the line.
The French striker turned down a move to Merseyside, believing that he could still force his way back into Arsenal’s team.

However, Giroud has failed to start regularly for Arsene Wenger’s side this term, and Everton believed that a deal could be possible in January.
Sam Allardyce’s men were left disappointed again though, as Arsenal had no intention of loaning out the target-man.
Everton have now turned their attention to Besiktas forward Cenk Tosun.

Everton have made a £25 million bid for Tosun, and are expected to sign the Turkish international in January.
If Tosun does join Everton he will be in competition with the likes of Sandro Ramirez and Dominic Calvert-Lewin for a place in Allardyce’s first-team.
