Aiden McGeady has no future at Everton and the Toffees are reportedly looking to sell him permanently this summer.
According to reports from the Liverpool Echo, Everton are looking to strike a £2m deal with Preston North End for the out of favour winger.
McGeady joined Everton in 2014, and spent the last two seasons on loan. This season, he joined Preston North End on loan, and enjoyed a productive campaign there.
The 31-year-old winger has scored eight goals this season, and was named the club’s Player of the Year.

The former Celtic winger has another 12 month remaining in his contract, but he does not feature in Ronald Koeman’s plans.
McGeady understands that he is not wanted at Merseyside, and says he would like to stay at Deepdale next season.
The winger recently said that he would like to continue with the Championship club, and knows that he is in a strong position for negotiation.
McGeady has cut a disappointing figure at Everton. He has scored just one goal in 43 games for the Toffees in all competitions.
The Echo reports that Everton are in talks over a £2m permanent transfer of the Irish winger.
