Samuel Chukwueze is considering his future at Villarreal with Everton, Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers keen to bring the £80 million-rated winger to the Premier League, according to 90Min.

Given this exciting Nigerian has made a trademark out of cutting inside on to his left foot and firing pot shots at goal, it should come as no surprise he idolises the legendary Arjen Robben.

Chukwueze exploded on to the scene while tearing Barcelona’s defence to shreds during a thrilling 4-4 draw in April 2019. After struggling for form in recent months, he ended his year-long goal drought in Monday’s 2-0 triumph over Real Valladolid.

“He is an incredible player who is growing in leaps and bounds,” former Barcelona and Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto’o told Goal recently.

“He is a quality player and needs to score more goals but he has the quality and ability to be more than just a goal-scoring forward. Once he gets all of that, he will be top.”

Villarreal sit third in the La Liga table under Unai Emery at present but, according to 90Min, Chukwueze is still considering a move away from the Yellow Submarine.

Leicester and Everton are interested, while Wolves have identified the 21-year-old as a potential replacement for Adama Traore.

Liverpool have been linked before and the report says they are still in the race having tracked Chukwueze for more than 12 months.

But if Chelsea come calling, one of Africa’s most exciting young attackers might find it impossible to turn down the advances of his boyhood club.

90Min adds Villarreal won’t sell for a penny less than his £80 million release clause, a fee that could put off the likes of Everton and Leicester.
