Everton continue to chase Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Everton are expected to wrap up the signing of Michael Keane today with BBC Sport reporting he is due to undergo a medical today.

Keane’s transfer follows the signing of Sandro, and continues an impressive spending spree which is far from over yet.

The Sun report the Toffees are already plotting their next move, to pursue Gylfi Sigurdsson.

The report states Everton remain keen on signing the Iceland international, but report Swansea City could demand as much as £40 million for the attacking midfielder.

Sigurdsson was eyed up as one of Everton’s first transfer targets of the summer but no progress has been made with the Welsh side digging in their heels.

The Toffees have already signed attacking midfielder Davy Klaassen but Sigurdsson has continued to be linked as a target.

Sigurdsson scored 10 goals and provided 13 assists last season for Swansea and was integral in their rally against relegation.

After the Keane deal Everton will have spent close £90 million this summer, and the £40 million needed for Sigurdsson would be their biggest move yet.
