Everton and Leeds face plenty of competition in the race to sign the 21-year-old striker.
A report in The Scottish Sun has suggested that a host of clubs are keeping a very keen eye on Bolton Wanderers striker Zach Clough, including Everton and Leeds United.
The Scottish Sun reports that the Trotters could be in danger of going into administration, so may be tempted to part with their biggest assets in an attempt to preserve the future of the club.

Based on the number of clubs currently interested, it appears that they will have absolutely no problem selling Clough, who has spent more than a decade with the League One outfit, having come through the youth ranks before making his first-team debut in 2015.
The Scottish Sun suggests that Middlesbrough have been monitoring his progress for a while now so could attempt a move in January, while Championship trio Wolverhampton Wanderers, Birmingham and Bristol City are also in the hunt.

However, The Scottish Sun adds that the Toffees are leading the race for his signature, while Leeds remain keen – the Daily Mail recently suggested that the prospect has previously been on their radar – so may also prove to be a tempting option given the success that they are currently enjoying under Garry Monk.
Given Clough’s form and apparent potential, it would not be a surprise if several move clubs joined the queue by the time the January window opened.
The youngster has scored seven times in 16 league games to help Phil Parkinson’s men move into the division’s top two, and has previously shown that he is more than capable of finding the back of the net in the second tier.
