The West Ham United man has been linked to Premier League rivals Everton.

The Mirror have reported that Everton are leading the race to sign Pedro Obiang from West Ham United.

The 25-year-old midfielder impressed for West Ham last season and finished runner-up in the club’s Player of the Year awards behind Michail Antonio.

The Spaniard joined United from Sampdoria in 2015 but The Mirror report that Everton are keen to link up with him on Merseyside.

It goes on to state that AC Milan and Sevilla have also shown interest in Obiang, who is worth £15 million.

Irons boss Slaven Bilic, who signed Obiang for £4.3 million, might be reluctant to let a key player join a club who West Ham man might be competing with next term.

But if Obiang expresses an interest in leaving and does not waver then the Croatian boss might offload him for the sake of harmony.
