Everton are reportedly interested in signing Petrus Boumal.

Foot Mercato has reported that Everton are interested in signing FC Ural ace Petrus Boumal.
The 24-year-old holding midfielder has made a big impression with the Russian side this season and a number of clubs are seemingly snooping around.
One of those clubs is Everton and Foot Mercato claim that the Toffees have identified him as a replacement for Idrissa Gueye if he leaves Goodison Park this summer.
The report goes on to state that Villarreal are also interested in Boumal, a Cameroon Under-21 international who joined the Russian Premier League outfit from CSKA Sofia last summer.

Replacing Schneiderlin or Klaassen a bigger priority?
Everton boss Sam Allardyce could do with a few more midfielders, but none in the defensive mould.
Gueye has been immense for the Premier League side this season, whereas Morgan Schneiderlin and Davy Klaassen, for example, have under-performed in a big way and if Allardyce is going to sign a midfielder, surely it must be one to play ahead of Gueye on the pitch.
