Everton and Crystal Palace have been linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Kortney Hause.
According to the Express and Star, Crystal Palace have been joined by both Everton and Arsenal in the race to sign highly-rated Wolverhampton Wanderers star Kortney Hause.
The report claims that Palace want Hause as a long-term replacement for the ageing Damien Delaney but competition for his services will be high as both Arsenal and Everton remain keen.
The 20-year-old centre-back came through the West Ham United academy and had a short spell in the Wycombe Wanderers youth teams before joining Wolves on a permanent deal in 2014.
He went on to make his debut for the Molineux club in December 2014, and since then he has featured an impressive 42 times under the guidance of manager Kenny Jackett.
Hause became a mainstay in the Wolves side following the departure of Richard Stearman to Fulham, and his impressive displays have earned international recognition with the England U21 side.
The report says that Palace have long earmarked him as an ideal replacement for Delaney, and the Eagles would represent somewhat of a homecoming for Hause who is originally from London.
However, Alan Pardew’s men now have competition for his signature as both Arsenal and Everton are keen.
The Toffees will also be on the lookout for a new central defender as a long-term replacement for Phil Jagielka, and they are said to have been impressed by Hause’s development.
The 6ft 2inch defender has a contract with Wolves until 2019, and the West Midlands club will be desperate to keep hold of him as they look to challenge for promotion to the Premier League.
