According to le10sport, Everton are keeping an eye on Randal Kolo Muani, who has also attracted interest from Crystal Palace.

The French news outlet state that Everton appreciate the forward’s abilities, as Olympique Lyon also try to sign him.

Elsewhere, it was a separate report from le10sport which revealed Crystal Palace and Southampton also want the 22-year-old.

Muani finished the Ligue 1 campaign with nine goals in 37 appearances, which isn’t too shabby for a player of his age.

His tally of nine assists is also quite impressive, as it shows he can create goals as well as score them.

What type of player is Muani?

Given his relatively low profile, you might not know much about Muani.

In that respect, a comparison is always helpful, and the France Under-21 international has been likened to one of the best around – Kylian Mbappé.

It’s a comparison that Muani himself admitted he doesn’t really understand, although it’s still encouraging nonetheless to see him compared to one of Europe’s very best.

Due to the financial impacts of COVID-19, FC Nantes are most likely to receive €5 million (£4.3 million) for their striker.

That is despite the fact they were hoping to receive €7 million (£6 million).

For that price, Muani is certainly worth taking a gamble on.
