According to The Mirror, Everton have joined the race to sign Fulham’s teenage wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon at the end of the season.
The Toffees may have snapped up some proven first-team players thanks to Farhad Moshiri’s investment, with the likes of Ashley Williams, Morgan Schneiderlin and Yannick Bolasie arriving, there has also been some emphasis placed on signing players for the future.
Bassala Sambou, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Donkor and Ademola Lookman have all signed for the club since the end of last season, with Everton bringing in a number of youngsters.
Now, another prospect is being linked with a move to Goodison Park is Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon, as The Mirror report that the teenager is wanted by Everton.
Sessegnon, 16, has come up through the ranks at Craven Cottage, and has been given 21 first-team appearances this season, notching four goals and two assists for Slavisa Jokanovic’s men.
The left back – who can also play on the left of midfield – doesn’t turn 17 until May but has already featured prominently, and his performances have triggered major Premier League interest.
