Everton are interested in snapping up Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville this summer amid links to Aston Villa.

Crysencio Summerville continues to attract interest with Everton now joining the list of clubs interested in signing him.

That is according to a report from the Daily Mail, who report that Everton are interested in both Summerville and Leeds teammate Wilfried Gnonto.

It’s stated that Leeds could lose a number of players this summer having suffered relegation to the Championship.

Brenden Aaronson, Diego Llorente, Tyler Adams, Illan Meslier, Robin Koch, Georginio Rutter, Rodrigo and Jack Harrison are all thought to have suitors.

The same goes for Summerville with Everton now seemingly keen to offer him a return to the Premier League.

Everton are far from alone in the race to sign Summerville though.

FC Update in the Netherlands reported earlier in June that PSV Eindhoven, RB Leipzig and Everton’s Premier League rivals Aston Villa are all keen.

Winning that kind of race will be difficult for Everton but Sean Dyche will hope to pounce this summer.

Everton need attacking additions amid Crysencio Summerville interest

Everton simply can’t keep scraping survival by the skin of their teeth every year.

Major additions are needed this summer and Everton simply have to pose more of a threat in the final third.

A winger with real pace and trickery would be ideal for Everton, especially with Demarai Gray potentially on his way out.

Summerville is far from the finished product; the 21-year-old only started 12 Premier League games last season and may blow a little hot and cold.

Still, Summerville – signed from Feyenoord for just £1.3million in 2020 – has big potential and can provide a much-needed spark for Everton.

Summerville still has three years left on his Leeds contract though and Everton may need to come up with a very impressive offer if they are to tempt the Whites into selling.
