Everton are reportedly keen on Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez.

According to The Mirror, Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley has warned Rafael Benitez that he won’t get huge money to spend this summer – and Everton are keen to raid the Magpies for the Spaniard.
Benitez managed to keep Newcastle in the Premier League this season despite being limited in the transfer market, with a strong reliance on loan deals of late.
The Spaniard has been reluctant to commit his future to Newcastle until learning his exact budget for this summer’s transfer window, but the Magpies may risk losing him in light of new reports.
The Mirror report that Newcastle owner Mike Ashley has again warned Benitez that he can’t compete with the biggest clubs in the Premier League, with a transfer budget set at around £80million.

With Benitez’s future unsure, it’s claimed that Everton are keeping tabs on his situation, as are fellow Premier League rivals Leicester and West Ham United, with Newcastle now in real danger of losing their manager.
Everton look set to part ways with manager Sam Allardyce after today’s game at West Ham United, and could launch a shock move to bring ex-Liverpool boss Benitez back to Merseyside.
The Toffees would be able to hand Benitez a budget well in excess of £80million, and whilst other managers have been linked with the Goodison Park job, the longer the confusion over Benitez’s future goes on, the greater the chance that he moves on and potentially heads to Everton.
