Everton have been linked with the Zimbabwe international.
According to a report from De Gelderlander, Everton are interested in signing Vitesse Arnhem player Marvelous Nakamba.
The 22-year-old is predominantly a holding midfielder although he can also play further forward if required, and with a contract until the summer of 2018 it would be no surprise to see his current club cash in this month if a decent offer arrives.
Everton manager Ronald Koeman will be keen to add quality reinforcements to his squad if possible and his knowledge of Dutch football could play a big part in his pursuit of Nakamba.
The midfielder has played 59 games for Vitesse to date, scoring two goals and providing four assists in the process.
Nakamba has featured 18 times this season, playing every minute of all but one league match – when he was suspended after collecting four yellow cards – and it will be interesting to see if he arrives at Goodison Park given some of the big names linked with Everton in recent weeks.
If he does arrive, Everton fans will be hoping he lives up to his name.
