According to a report in the Birmingham Mail, Aston Villa youngster Callum O’Hare is attracting the attention of Everton.

Everton had scouts at Villa’s latest under-23 match, which they won 3-0 against Newcastle United.

And O’Hare’s display during the contest is sure to have caught the eye of any onlookers, as he was in brilliant form.

O’Hare scored a hat-trick for Villa and managed to claim an assist, as the claret and blues picked up an impressive three points.

It is doubtful whether Villa would be willing to entertain offers for O’Hare at this moment, despite the rising interest in the attacker.

The 19-year-old looks like one of the brightest, young talents at Villa Park – with his performances earning him a lot of credit.

Steve Bruce has generally used the youngster sparingly so far, but O’Hare’s impressive form at youth level means that he is pushing hard to earn a starting place.

Everton have already shown a willingness to buy players from the lower leagues – with the likes of Dominic Calvert Lewin, Mason Holgate and Ademola Lookman moving to Goodison Park recently.
