Everton have sacked manager Ronald Koeman – but more departures are coming.
According to The Mirror, Everton are negotiating pay-offs for three more men to leave the club following Ronald Koeman’s exit on Monday.
The Toffees lost 5-2 at home to Arsenal on Sunday, and such a heavy defeat has proven to be manager Koeman’s final game in charge of the club.
The Dutchman’s 16-month reign at Goodison Park has come to a crushing end, but it came as little surprise to fans after such a torrid opening to the season.

With five defeats in the first nine Premier League games and only one point from three Europa League outings, Koeman has lost his job – and he isn’t the only one leaving Goodison Park this week.
The Mirror report that Everton are holding negotiations to pay off three more staff members, with assistant manager Erwin Koeman, fitness coach Jan Kluitenberg and goalkeeper coach Patrick Lodewijks all set to leave.
Ronald’s brother Erwin followed him over from Southampton in the summer of 2016 to work together again, and it’s no surprise that he is following his younger sibling out of the Goodison Park exit door.

Fitness coach Kluitenberg did the same, leaving Southampton for Everton, whilst Lodewijks – formerly of Groningen and the Dutch national team – will be leaving too.
With a full-scale overhaul on the way, the only man seemingly staying around the first team is David Unsworth, who will take caretaker charge whilst Everton look for a new boss over the coming weeks.
