Everton and Tottenham are reportedly keen on Schalke ace Leon Goretzka.

According to Calcio Mercato, Everton and Tottenham are two of five Premier League clubs to have enquired about signing Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka this summer.
Goretzka, 22, came up through the ranks with hometown club VfL Bochum before his performances for the club earned him a 2013 move to Schalke.
Since joining the Gelsenkirchen club, Goretzka has played almost 100 Bundesliga games, and his record of seven goals and two assists in all competitions this season appears to have triggered interest.
Calcio Mercato report that a host of clubs are interested in signing Goretza, with Everton and Tottenham two of five Premier League sides who have contacted Schalke about a summer deal.
With just one year left on his Schalke contract, Goretzka could be sold his summer, especially given that Schalke have seen defender Joel Matip leave for Liverpool on a free transfer, and Sead Kolasinac is set to leave the club when his contract ends this summer.
Three major departures on free transfers in consecutive years would be a huge blow for Schalke, and it’s claimed that they are willing to cash in for around €30million (£25million) this summer to prevent losing him for nothing.

That could fit into Everton’s budget thanks to the investment of shareholder Farhad Moshiri, and a midfielder will be wanted if Ross Barkley is sold this summer, whilst he would offer more going forward than Morgan Schneiderlin or Idrissa Gueye.
The links to Goretzka are particularly interesting given that Southampton – then managed by current Everton boss Ronald Koeman – were linked with a move to sign Goretzka by Bild, with the Dutchman seemingly hoping to finally land his man this time around.
Tottenham and three other Premier League clubs could wade into the battle for Goretzka’s signature, but Everton may be hoping to beat their rival to land the German star this summer.
