Everton are reportedly keen on Manchester United winger Ashley Young – but so are Swansea City, Watford and West Bromwich Albion.
According to ESPN, Everton are interested in Manchester United’s veteran winger Ashley Young – but face competition from Swansea City, West Bromwich Albion and his former club Watford.
The Toffees take on Manchester United in the Premier League this afternoon, with manager Ronald Koeman looking to pick up a win having claimed just one victory in the last eight league games.

Win, lose or draw though, Everton need January reinforcements after such a disappointing run of form, and Koeman is being linked with wingers given that Kevin Mirallas, Gerard Deulofeu and Aaron Lennon have struggled to nail down a place in Koeman’s starting line-up.
Whilst the Liverpool Echo reported last month that Koeman wants to raid Manchester United for his compatriot Memphis Depay, it’s now claimed that he may be interested in a different Red Devils wide man.
ESPN report that Everton are keen on signing Manchester United winger Ashley Young, but face competition from three Premier League rivals; Swansea City, Watford and West Bromwich Albion.

Young, 31, has made almost 150 appearances for United since signing from Aston Villa in the summer of 2011, but has been pushed down the pecking order by players like Anthony Martial, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard.
With just two Premier League starts to his name, Young has been a bit-part player under Jose Mourinho this season, and he may look to leave in January in order to play first-team football again.

Everton could offer him an escape route from Old Trafford in what would be something of a shock move given his limited impact in recent years, whilst Swansea City and West Brom are also believed to be keen.
The most intriguing move for Young could be re-signing for Watford though, with the Hornets allegedly keen. The former England international made his name at Vicarage Road by scoring 22 goals in 110 games for Watford, and a move back to his former club could be appealing, especially given that it’s close to his hometown of Stevenage.
