With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang out of contract at Arsenal next summer and Atletico Madrid interested in Alexandre Lacazette – as reported by The Telegraph – Arsenal may need to sign a striker this summer, and Schick could be an option they are exploring.

La Gazzetta dello Sport has further claimed that Schick is happy in Germany and wants to stay at Leipzig next season as well.

Stats

According to WhoScored, Schick has made 10 starts and six substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Leipzig so far this season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists in the process.

The former Sampdoria forward has also played 187 minutes in the Champions League for the German club so far this campaign, according to WhoScored.

It remains to be seen how much money clubs spend on new players this summer amid the global health crisis.
