Everton are expected to be one of the biggest spenders in the Premier League this summer.

According to the Telegraph, Everton are hopeful that their early business will encourage more players to sign on at Goodison Park.

Everton raised eyebrows yesterday, when they spent big to snap up both Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen.

Pickford was one of the Premier League’s leading goalkeepers last season, while Klaassen is regarded as one of Holland’s most promising talents.

And Everton are hoping to invest further, to improve the quality of the squad which Ronald Koeman has available to him.

The Toffees have ambitions to break into the top four in the near future, and they are hoping that their initial business this summer proves their intent to any potential new arrivals.

Everton are expected to continue with their recruit drive in the coming days (Liverpool Echo), with M’Baye Niang set to be the next player to sign for the Merseyside outfit.

Niang will join Everton from AC Milan in another big money deal, as Koeman improves his attack.

Niang impressed on a loan spell with Watford last season, and Everton believe that the powerful winger can make a big impact at Goodison Park.
