Everton have reportedly held talks about deals for Manchester United duo Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay.
According to The Sun, Everton held talks with Manchester United on Sunday about signing midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin and winger Memphis Depay.
The Toffees met United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, as Leighton Baines’ late penalty cancelled out Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s opener to give Everton a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park.

Whilst the focus was of course on the game, it seems that the two clubs also used their meeting on Merseyside to hold talks about potential deals for the January transfer window.
The Sun report that Everton and Manchester United held pre-game talks over potential moves to take Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay as the transfer window draws ever closer.
Manchester United’s Morgan Schneiderlin celebrates scoring
Schneiderlin, 27, has played just 11 minutes of Premier League action this season, and appears to be behind the likes of of Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera, Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini in the pecking order at Old Trafford.
Having been frozen out by Jose Mourinho, the Frenchman could look to leave United in January, and a move to reunite with his former Southampton manager Koeman could be ideal, especially with Everton looking for a successor to Gareth Barry in the heart of midfield.
Additionally, Koeman is keen on United misfit Depay, having recently told FOX Sports NL that he was interested in offering the winger some first-team football having endured a difficult time at United.

The 22-year-old wide man was a big-money signing from PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2015, but he grabbed just two goals and no assists in the Premier League last season.
This term, Depay has played just 20 minutes in the Premier League, and is another player stuck down the pecking order with Mourinho at the helm, so a January move to Goodison Park could be ideal.
Everton have just lost winger Yannick Bolasie for the rest of the season after a knee injury, and with Koeman clearly keen on Depay, he may be the ideal replacement for Bolasie as fresh talks were allegedly held on Sunday, with the Toffees hoping to strike a double deal for January.
