Everton have joined Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Arkadiusz Milik, according to Gianlucadimarzio.com.

It has been reported that Tottenham are after the Poland international striker, and now Premier League rivals Everton have joined the race for the 26-year-old.

The report has added that the Merseyside club have ‘timidly tested the ground with Napoli’.

The Serie A outfit could be open to sending Milik out on loan this summer after extending his contract, with his current deal to run out in the summer of 2021, according to the report.

Arkadiusz Milik Stats

According to WhoScored, Milik scored 11 goals in 19 Serie A starts for Napoli last season.

During the 2018-19 campaign, the Poland international striker scored 17 goals and providing three assists in the league, and scored three goals in the Champions League, according to WhoScored.

Would Arkadiusz Milik be a good signing for Everton?

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been superb for Everton so far this season, with the 23-year-old scoring four goals in two Premier League matches, according to WhoScored.

Milik is a more established and proven striker, and the 26-year-old’s arrival at Everton would enhance Carlo Ancelotti’s side’s chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League table this season.

Ancelotti worked with Milik when he was in charge of Napoli.
