Gomes joined Everton from Barcelona towards the end of August on loan.

The Liverpool Echo have reported in a Q & A with reporter Adam Jones (Tuesday, 12:54) that midfielder Andre Gomes does not have a permanent clause included in his season-long Everton loan.
The 25-year-old finally overcame his hamstring injury to start against Crystal Palace during the 2-0 win at Goodison Park, and the Barcelona loanee impressed on his first appearance.
The 29-time Portugal international continued his strong start to life on Merseyside with a decent performance as The Toffees suffered a narrow 2-1 loss to Jose Mourinho’s side.
Fans have been impressed by Gomes’ couple of appearances and fans are already talking about a potential permanent deal, with some hoping that a permanent deal had been included in the former Valencia star’s loan.

But reporter Jones delivered some bad news, confirming that there is no permanent deal in Gomes’ loan deal. Spanish outlet AS claim he has a release clause from his Barcelona contract worth £89million.
It remains to be seen if Barcelona will allow Gomes to leave on a permanent basis, who has three years remaining on his contract at Goodison Park.
