Everton have firmed up their interest in signing Andre Gray, according to The Burnley Express.

The 25-year-old netted nine times in 26 Premier League starts last season.

Consequently, he is reportedly now on Ronald Koeman’s radar at Goodison Park.

And, according to The Burnley Express, Everton have “firmed up” their interest in the Clarets hitman as they look to bolster their striking options.

The former Brentford hitman, whose 25 Championship goals helped Sean Dyche’s side into the Premier League, only has one year to go on his contract and it remains to be seen whether Burnley will look to offload him or convince him to sign a new deal.

The Toffees will need a big-scoring striker next season amid speculation that Romelu Lukaku could leave Merseyside this summer.

But although Gray might flourish in a better team, surrounded by better players, he is unlikely to hit 25 Premier League goals every season, which Lukaku does comfortably.

According to The Sun, Everton will also sign Sandro Ramirez this summer.
