According to Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Everton are in the race to sign Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo this summer.
The Toffees signed Ashley Williams from Swansea City last summer to boost their defence, but with both he and Phil Jagielka now over the age of 30, and Ramiro Funes Mori failing to establish himself, another centre back could be targeted this summer.

Manager Ronald Koeman may be hoping for a younger centre back to come in this summer, and with a move for Burnley’s Michael Keane currently looking unlikely, the Toffees appear to be casting their net a little further.
Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Everton are interested in signing Inter Milan centre back Jeison Murillo, though they face competition from Premier League rivals Crystal Palace and Stoke City.

It’s claimed that, in an attempt to raise money without selling winger Ivan Perisic to Manchester United, defender Murillo is one of the players Inter will look to move on this summer.
Murillo, 25, joined Inter from Granada in the summer of 2015, and whilst he impressed in his first campaign with the club, he was more inconsistent this past season, hence Inter being open to selling him.

A Colombian international with 25 caps to his name, Murillo only stands at 6ft tall, but he has superb ability in the air, whilst his pace would also fit well alongside the more experienced Williams.
Everton will have to move quickly to land him though, given the competition for his signature, with La Liga side Villarreal allegedly keen on bringing him back to Spain as well.
