Everton are reportedly keen on Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck.

According to The Mirror, Everton are eyeing up Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck for a January move as his contract uncertainty goes on.
The Toffees spent big on a striker in January of this year as they brought in Cenk Tosun from Besiktas, but he has recently struggled in front of goal, with his goal against Fulham on Saturday the first time he has found the net this season.
Oumar Niasse and Dominic Calvert-Lewin don’t offer enough as cover for Tosun, and signing either more competition or a replacement for the Turk may well be a January priority.
Now, The Mirror report that Everton are again interested in signing Arsenal forward Welbeck, stating that they showed interest in signing him over the summer, but no deal was done.
Everton should have a chance a cut-price deal for Welbeck in January, given that the striker is out of contract in the summer, and currently looks set to leave for free.

The Toffees will hope to use that in their favour by bringing Manchester-born Welbeck back to the North West without breaking the bank, whilst offering the England international a greater shot at first-team football.
The 27-year-old should relish such an opportunity if it comes his way, especially as he would be able to reunite with former Arsenal teammate Theo Walcott at Goodison Park.
