The winger is out of favour at Manchester United and Everton are keen on his signature.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton are eyeing a loan move for Manchester United winger Memphis Depay in the January transfer window.
The Dutchman is out of favour at Old Trafford and has only managed 20 minutes of Premier League football under Jose Mourinho this season.
It is thought that United are willing to let him leave in the next transfer window and Blues boss Ronald Koeman is keen to work with him.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the Dutchman thinks he can get the best out of the 22-year-old.
The newspaper reports he has travelled to the watch Holland take on Belgium in a friendly at the Amsterdam Arena in the hope of seeing Depay in action.
It is not the first time Koeman has targeted the winger, having missed out on him to United when he was in charge of Southampton.
“It is true, we were interested in Memphis last year but we heard from his management that he wanted to stay one more year in Holland and then take the opportunity to play for a foreign club,” the Daily Star quoted him saying at the time.
“If one day he will be on the market, I’m interested yes but I don’t think so because I believe in that player. It is a difficult time but (he is) still young. He has to improve a lot and he will go through all these difficult moments.”
Everton manager Ronald Koeman
Unfortunately for Koeman, he is likely to face a fight to try and secure Depay’s signature this time around.
The Liverpool Echo reports that Serie A side Roma are also keen on him and a move to Italy could be a more attractive prospect at this moment in time.
There is also Jose Mourinho to consider. He is unlikely to want to strengthen a top-six rival, with Everton currently level on points with United in the table and that could also put the brakes on a move to Merseyside.
