Everton are expected to sign Gylfi Sigurdsson in the near future, and Leicester City have a keen eye on the deal.
Everton are expected to sign Sigurdsson from Swansea in a deal worth £50 million in the near future.
And Leicester are using this transfer as a guideline to how to value Mahrez in the current market.

Leicester feel that they are entitled to price Mahrez at a higher value than what Everton will pay for Sigurdsson.
Mahrez was a star as Leicester won the Premier League two seasons ago, and he is also considerably younger than Sigurdsson.
Leicester may now be pricing Mahrez at too high a value for most interest parties to meet.
Roma had wanted the Algerian, but cannot afford to pay more than £50 million for him.
Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have also been linked with the wide man, but whether either would be willing to pay Leicester’s asking price remains to be seen.
Mahrez is understood to be keen to move from the King Power Stadium and try a new challenge.
