Everton could reportedly be forced to sell Amadou Onana in the coming days, amid interest from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United and Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea.
The Sun have reported that Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are all tracking Amadou Onana and are interested in signing the Everton midfielder in the summer transfer window.
The report in the British tabloid has claimed that the Toffees could be forced into selling one of their best players by this coming Friday to balance the books.
“The hard-up Toffees need to raise cash through sales before their end-of-year accounts close for 2022-23,” reports The Sun.
The report adds: “Everton are the subject of an independent commission set up by the Premier League over allegations they have breached Financial Fair Play rules.
“Selling stars by June 30 and showing the income in their accounts would take huge financial pressure off.”
Midfielder Onana is one of the players that Everton could be forced to sell in the coming days, according to the report.

Amadou Onana transfer boost for Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea
In our opinion, if Everton do have to sell Amadou Onana imminently, then it is a boost to Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea’s chances of signing the 21-year-old Belgium international defensive midfielder.
The youngster could now become available for a cut-price fee.
Onana is one of the better young players in the Premier League who played well for the Toffees last season.
The Belgian has proved himself in the Premier League and has shown that he can hold his own in the middle of the season.
And he is only 21.
Onana made 29 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for Everton last season.
The midfielder scored one goal and gave two assists in those games.
