Everton could sell Jonjoe Kenny to a Premier League rival to make room for the addition of Santiago Arias, the Liverpool Echo report.

Kenny impressed on loan at Schalke last season and was expected to step back into Everton’s first-team squad for the upcoming campaign.

However, the latest reports now suggest that Everton may be wiling to offload the 23-year-old, with domestic interest building in the full-back.

If Everton are to sell Kenny it may disappoint many around Goodison Park, who had been looking forward to seeing the England youth international in action.

Kenny impressed in the Bundesliga last season, and there is a feeling that he could really challenge Seamus Coleman for a starting spot this time around.

However, Carlo Ancelotti is seemingly less convinced, and he could opt to cash in on the academy graduate.

If Kenny is offloaded it seems that Arias will be given the green light to join.

The £13 million Colombian (Mail) possesses great pace, but he could be available for sale, as he has struggled for game time with Atletico Madrid this term.
