Everton could reportedly be about to receive a £70 million offer for Jordan Pickford from Manchester United.

De Gea’s future at Old Trafford remains uncertain with the Mirror reporting that he is seeking fresh terms that see him earn £350,000-a-week and could consider leaving at the end of the season if they do not come his way.
Should that bid prove successful, Pickford would become the world’s most expensive goalkeeper ahead of Alisson following the Brazilian’s move to Liverpool during the previous window.

It is little surprise that Pickford is a player that United have their eye on. Like De Gea, the former Sunderland ace is capable of producing massive saves when the team need him after long periods of inactivity.
And with the 24-year-old still developing his game, £70 million could arguably prove to be a real bargain in the future. And that is exactly why Everton should do everything they can to keep hold of the stopper or at least demand a significant amount more from their Premier League rivals if they come calling.
