Everton boss Ronald Koeman confirmed his interest in the 22-year-old last week.

Manchester United will not sell linked-away Memphis Depay for less than £30 million (€35m), according to Pianeta Milan.

The 22-year-old has struggled for minutes under Jose Mourinho this season, making only four Premier League appearances and all of them were from the bench.

The Dutch winger has been strongly linked with a January move to Everton in recent days, with Toffees boss Ronald Koeman admitting to Fox Sports, via Sky Sports, that he would like him.

But the Toffees could face interference in the form of AC Milan or Juventus, as Pianeta Milan report that both Serie A giants are also interested in the former PSV starlet.

The report goes on to state that the Red Devils want something in the region of £30 million for him.

It seems unlikely that United would realistically make a £5 million profit on Depay following his £25 million switch from the Eredivisie in 2015.

With five goals across all competitions in his first season, Depay, a Louis van Gaal signing, is far more of a miss than a hit at the moment and it’s unlikely that the Red Devils will recoup their initial fee, let alone make a profit on a player who has not delivered.

If Everton do end up signing him, it’ll be because of the potential he showed in the Netherlands, but his first season, which included 42 games, is a big red flag at the moment and no team would touch him for the figures quoted.
