According to Sky Sports, Paris Saint-Germain are now in talks to sign Everton striker Moise Kean on a permanent basis for £31million.

It’s claimed that Everton are willing to consider selling Kean, as long as they make a profit on the £27million they paid to sign him from Juventus in 2019.

Kean was a disappointment in his first season at Everton, scoring just twice in 29 Premier League outings, and he didn’t really impress fellow Italian Carlo Ancelotti either.

In October, Everton sent Kean on loan to PSG for the season in a rather strange move, as he was joining a Champions League giant having struggled for action at Everton.

What a season he’s having though; Kean has racked up nine goals in 16 appearances across all competitions, showing the goalscoring touch that was missing at Everton.

Mauricio Pochettino is now on board as PSG’s new boss, and it seems his first job is to secure the permanent signing of Kean this month.

Everton had such high hopes for the 20-year-old, but may now make just £4million in profit as PSG move in – though it’s worth remembering that Juventus will likely have a sell-on clause in his deal.

Everton should subsequently push for even more money if they’re going to sell Kean, who is really showing his potential in the French capital following a frustrating year at Goodison Park.
