According to AS, Everton could hire Nuno Espírito Santo as a replacement for Carlo Ancelotti, who looks set to rejoin Real Madrid.
The Spanish news outlet claims that Ancelotti actually rejected an approach from Inter Milan recently, after Antonio Conte left the San Siro.
However, AS claim he could not say no to Real Madrid.
The Italian helped Los Blancos win two Champions League titles, the FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup and the Copa del Rey.
Now, Everton could turn to Nuno, who has left Wolves following a mutual agreement with his employers at Molineux according to the BBC.

Of course, very few managers in European football would be able to ease Everton’s pain of losing Ancelotti, although Nuno is a brilliant manager.
What could Nuno offer to Everton?
Well, for a start, Pep Guardiola thinks he’s an ‘excellent’ manager, which speaks volumes coming from one of football’s brightest minds.
As quoted by the Express and Star after a 1-1 draw against the 47-year-old, the Manchester City boss said: “I don’t like to play newly promoted teams. I prefer in November or December because their enthusiasm is that they are under pressure to play one of the contenders to win the Premier League, and of course they have an excellent manager.”

Furthermore, Nuno has won 187 of his 391 games as a manager, which is a pretty decent record – he’s averaged 1.68 points-per-game as a result.
The Portuguese coach also guided Wolves out of the Championship to the Europa League quarter-final in two years, which is simply phenomenal.
Keep an eye on this one, as Everton surely won’t want to be managerless for too long with the transfer window fast approaching.
