Everton are reportedly interested in Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa.

According to The Mirror and The Express, Everton are considering a move for Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa if they choose to part ways with Marco Silva any time soon.
The Toffees lost at Watford on Saturday afternoon, meaning it’s now eight defeats in the last 11 Premier League games for Silva, and just three wins in the last 13.
After a bright October and November, Everton are dropping like a stone, and Silva’s future could be in doubt if this sort of form continues.
A host of names would be linked if so, and reports in the weekend nationals now suggest that Everton could launch a move for Leeds boss Bielsa.
‘El Loco’ has impressed in his first season in England, turning Leeds into legitimate promotion contenders with an attractive brand of high-octane football.
It’s stated that Bielsa would be a genuine contender if Silva departs Everton, with Toffees officials believed to have been impressed with his work at Elland Road.

Whether the Argentine would be interested in such a move is another matter. Bielsa is a man who loves projects, and leaving Leeds so soon into his time at the club would be a strange decision.
Of course, Bielsa’s maverick ways mean nothing is ever set in stone with him, but there is every chance that Leeds could be in the same division as Everton next season anyway.
The money on offer from Farhad Moshiri may be tempting, but the project to return Leeds to their former glories remains an exciting one, and Whites fans will be hoping that he stays if Everton do come calling.
