Brendan Galloway joined Sunderland on loan from Everton in the summer of 2017.

It has been reported that Premier League club Everton are exploring the possibility of recalling the the 21-year-old defender from his loan spell at Championship side Sunderland.

The left-back joined the Black Cats on a season-long loan deal from the Toffees in the summer of 2017.
Much was expected of the 21-year-old when he arrived at the Stadium of Light, but England Under-21 international has struggled for playing time at Sunderland so far this season.
The Liverpool Echo has also claimed that Galloway is keen on returning to Everton in the January transfer window.

The defender has played a total of just 457 minutes in the Championship so far this season, starting five games and making two substitute appearances, according to WhoScored.
Everton are aiming to finish in the top 10 of the Premier League this season, while Sunderland are struggling for survival in the Championship at the moment.
