Everton have reportedly failed with a new move for Watford manager Marco Silva.

According to The Telegraph, Watford have rebuffed Everton’s latest £10million approach for manager Marco Silva after a phone call this morning.
The Toffees sacked manager Ronald Koeman last month after a terrible start to the season, with former Everton defender David Unsworth taking caretaker charge.
Unsworth has won just once in his four games in charge, but he could yet land the job on a permanent basis given how Everton are struggling to land other targets.

Everton failed with one approach for Watford boss Marco Silva this week, and The Telegraph now report that another bid has been rejected today after a phone call from the Toffees this morning.
The Toffees have allegedly offered up £10million for Silva, but Watford are standing firm having only appointed the Portuguese boss over the summer.
Silva, 40, impressed in charge of Hull City in the second half of last season, and despite failing to prevent the Tigers from suffering relegation, he earned an immediate return to the Premier League with Watford.

Silva has already turned Watford into a dangerous, exciting side, with the emergence of Brazilian forward Richarlison summing up Silva’s reign at Vicarage Road so far, and it’s no surprise that Everton have been attracted.
However, Watford are standing firm, and Everton may have to move on to another target – despite feeling that Silva would be interested in holding talks if possible.
