Jose Mourinho’s future at United is in doubt, and Everton boss Silva is on the shortlist.

Mourinho watched on as United suffered a dismal 3-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night, increasing doubts over his future at Old Trafford after previously suffering a 3-2 defeat to Brighton.
The report claims vice-chairman Ed Woodward and the rest of the Manchester United board are keen to give the former Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Chelsea manager time to turn the situation around.
However, they have drawn up a shortlist just in case Mourinho does end up leaving Old Trafford, and Portuguese boss Silva joins an illustrious list of names.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Mauricio Pochettino, Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri, impressive Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim and World Cup winning-gaffer Didier Deschamps join Silva.
Silva, who signed a three-year contract with Everton to replace Sam Allardyce, has managed Sporting Lisbon, Olympiakos, Hull City and most recently Watford during his career. He has won the Greek Super League, and the Portuguese Cup.
