King looks set to leave Bournemouth in the near future, but his final destination is not yet known.
West Ham had looked to be the front runners for his signature, but their bid has been turned down.
And it could now be that Everton end up signing the Norwegian international, who was once described as ‘brilliant’ by Jermain Defoe (Tribal Football).
Carlo Ancelotti’s side have started the season brilliantly, but may be seeking more cover in their attacking roles.
King could present an appealing option in that sense, as his pace and power make him a real threat.
King has proven his ability at the top level over a number of seasons, and Everton are now said to be considering making a late offer, as the domestic transfer window draws closer to closing.
King would offer Everton cover right across their front-line, and he could prove an upgrade on Theo Walcott, who recently departed.
Walcott seems to have lost a yard of pace in recent years, but King remains lightening quick, and he would be a dangerous impact substitute for the Toffees to add to their side.
