Everton would not have to pay a fee for the Huddersfield Town goalkeeper.
The Sun believes that Everton have signed the Huddersfield Town goalkeeper, Jonas Lössl, on a three-year contract.
Lössl was reported to have completed a medical and agreed a shorter deal with the Toffees a week ago, although confirmation has yet to arrive.
But that could now be imminent, according to The Sun, which claims Everton have beaten European clubs such as Marseille and Monaco to land the Dane, who is out of contract at Huddersfield.
Lössl was a regular in each of his two seasons at Huddersfield, but would not be expected to take Jordan Pickford’s place as Everton number one.
The 30-year-old is also expected to compete with the Portuguese youngster, Joao Virginia, if he becomes an Everton payer.
Lössl made his name at FC Midtjylland before spells at En Avant de Guingamp, FC Mainz 05 and Huddersfield.
