Everton are Joshua King’s most likely destination today, Football London report.

Everton and West Ham United have both been battling to sign King over the summer so far, but are yet to agree a price with Bournemouth.

The forward is seemingly very keen to move back to the Premier League, and Everton are now believed to be leading the way to sign him.

The Toffees have just a matter of hours remaining to force a deal over the line, but Football London say that Carlo Ancelotti’s men are the most likely team to get the deal done.

If King was to join Everton he could be an appealing addition due to his ability to cover right across the front line.

Everton lost Theo Walcott this summer, and King looks as if he could be a natural replacement for the former England international.

While the 28-year-old, who was once described as ‘brilliant’ by Jermain Defoe (Tribal Football), wouldn’t be a permanent starter for the Toffees he would offer them pace and power in the final third.

King could cover both out wide or up-front for the Toffees, and would add further depth to what is looking like an impressive front-line that Ancelotti is building.
