Sean Dyche’s Everton are reportedly ahead of Unai Emery’s Aston Villa in the race for Leeds United star Wilfried Gnonto.
According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla on his website, Everton, Aston Villa, Freiburg and Inter Milan all are interested in signing Wilfried Gnonto from Leeds United in the summer transfer window.
The reporter has claimed that Everton are in the lead for the Italy international, who is a versatile player and can operate as a winger, wide forward or down the middle.

Leeds will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League.
So, it is unlikely that the West Yorkshire outfit would put up a fight to keep hold of the Italy international if a good offer came in.
Everton are a big and established club in the Premier League.
If the Merseyside make a good offer to Leeds and to Gnonto, then they could be able to secure the services of the 19-year-old, described by Andrea Radrizzani as “exceptional” in TuttoMercatoWeb in March.
Gnonto joined Leeds from Zurich in the summer of 2022.
The teenager made 14 starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leeds last season.
The forward scored two goals and gave four assists in those games.
