Everton attempted to sign Munir El Haddadi for Barcelona in the January transfer window, according to reports.
According to a report on TalkSPORT, Everton are interested in signing Barcelona prospect Munir El Haddadi in the summer.
Everton reportedly made an approach for the 20-year-old in January, but they were rebuffed by Barca who wanted to keep the youngster at the Nou Camp.
However, Munir is reportedly open to a temporary move from Barcelona as he searches for more game time, and his future is set to be discussed again at the end of the season.
Everton are reportedly keen to make sure they lead the race for the winger’s signature and it is claimed that they are already making plans to sign him.
Munir has played 25 times for Barca so far this season, but many of those appearances have been as a substitute.
Everton have been successful recruiting from Barcelona before, with Gerard Deulofeu joining the club on loan for the 2013/14 campaign.
Deulofeu has now signed permanently for Everton after impressing during his loan spell, and the Merseyside club will be hoping that Munir could have a similar impact if the transfer does go through.
