Everton reportedly want the West Bromwich Albion man as part of their backroom team.

The Toffees are not able to sign players between the age of 10 and 18 until next year, according to the Mirror, and are looking to replace Martin Waldron who has now left the club.
West Brom have brought through plenty of exciting youngsters in recent years, and many now find themselves on the cusp of pushing into Darren Moore’s squad at The Hawthorns.

While the expectations have increased at Everton in recent years, the Toffees have also left the path clear for some of their brightest prospects to force their way into the senior side.
It would hardly be a surprise if the Everton role appealed to Hopcroft as the Toffees look to be particularly determined to move themselves up alongside the Premier League’s heavyweights, and ensuring that they continue to uncover starlets for the future will certainly boost their chances of doing that.
