According to Correio da Manhã, Everton and Wolves have both made contact with Benfica over the signing of Haris Seferović.
What’s the story?
Well, the Portuguese news outlet claims that Everton and Wolves approached Benfica about Seferović before EURO 2020 began.
At the time, Benfica only asked for €15 million (£12.9 million).
However, the 29-year-old has since taken EURO 2020 by storm, and things have changed in regards to his valuation.
Seferović has scored three goals in four games at the tournament, including a double against France in the Round of 16.
Now, Benfica have doubled his value to €30 million (£25.7 million) due to his fine displays on the European stage.
Is Haris Seferović worth that?

In our view, no.
Everton and Wolves would be mad to spend that much on the 78-cap Switzerland international.
Yes, Seferović is having a fine EURO 2020, and he looked like one of the best forwards around against France on Monday evening.
He also scored 26 goals in 48 games for Benfica last season.
So, why wouldn’t we sign him?

Well, £25.7 million is a lot to pay for a 29-year-old with no Premier League experience.
It would be a poor signing for the long-term, and one that comes with plenty of risk attached.
Despite his fine EURO 2020 form, Everton and Wolves should steer clear.
