Burnley midfielder Steven Defour has been linked with Everton and West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

The 29-year-old midfielder has been on the books of Burnley since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Anderlecht for a transfer fee reported by The Sun to be worth £7.5 million.

According to Spotrac.com, the Belgium international earns £35,000 per week as salary at the Clarets.
Defour’s current contract with Burnley runs until the summer of 2019, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk, and it has been reported by Nieuwsblad.be that the midfielder would be open to signing a contract extension with the Clarets.

Defour has established himself as an important player for Burnley and has proved himself in the Premier League.
The Belgium international has had injury concerns this season, but the 29-year-old has still been able to make 24 appearances in the Premier League for Sean Dyche’s side.
